(VOVWORLD) -The Ministry of Health said that Vietnam on Friday recorded nearly 2,200 new COVID-19 cases, 2.5 times less than the number of recoveries. 1 patient died of COVID-19 in Quang Ninh.
Since the onset of the pandemic, Vietnam’s caseload has reached 11.3 million, ranking 12th out of 227 countries and territories.
The death toll from COVID-19 in Vietnam so far is more than 43,000, accounting for 0.4% of the total number of infections.
