(VOVworld) – Croatia’s opposition won Croatia’s first parliamentary election since it joined the European Union in 2013.

Preliminary results announced on Sunday had the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) winning 63 seats in the 151-seat parliament. The ruling centre-left Social Democratic Party and its allies won 52 seats.
