The Ministry asked the UN to open an immediate and strict investigation of Washington’s activities against Havana and to stop similar activities aimed at other sovereign nations. The Ministry accused US officials of violating regulations against using UN facilities to sabotage any UN member’s sovereignty, adding that the US activities are just an excuse for further sanctions against Cuba, which are a gross and systematic violation of Cubans’ human rights.
