In a special column, the Cuban News Agency (ACN) underlined the 60-year Vietnam-Cuba friendship, recalling historical landmarks in their relationship and praising their solidarity and brotherhood.

The column emphasized that after they set up diplomatic relations in December 1960, Cuba and Vietnam started a special relationship marked by unconditional support and mutual trust. The Cuba-Vietnam relationship founded by Fidel Castro Ruz and Ho Chi Minh has grown stronger during the past six decades. 

Granma daily, the newspaper of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), ran an article stating that the Cuba-Vietnam friendship has stood the test of time, and President Phuc’s visit reaffirms that friendship.

Television channel Canal Caribe broadcast a special program on Sunday on the official activities of the Vietnamese President during his visit.
