(VOVworld) – Vietnam Culture Day in Russia ended with a gala night on Monday featuring Vietnamese culture in Yaroslavl city. The program included an art performance, a lacquer painting exhibition, tourism promotion programs, and film screenings. Before Yaroslavl, the art shows traveled to Moscow and St. Petersburg.

On Monday, Alechxandr Netraev, Yaroslavl’s First Deputy Mayor told Vietnam’s Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh that his visit to Russia has promoted friendship between the two countries and between Yaroslavl and several Vietnamese localities. Netraev applauded achievements in bilateral trade and expressed his confidence in future cooperation.
Minister Anh suggested future cooperative activities: “I hope our relations will be improved through sports and tourism exchanges. More Vietnamese tourists will travel to Yaroslavl and vice versa. I hope that you will visit Vietnam, at which time we will discuss what we can do and what you want to do to further expand cooperation.”
During the meeting, Elena Volkava, Deputy Mayor in Charge of Social Welfare, talked about Yaroslavl city’s strengths.
