(VOVworld) – Representatives of the Ministry of Information and Communications held a working session on Monday with Da Nang authorities in preparation for the 2015 Meeting of ASEAN Telecommunications and IT Ministers (TELMIN) scheduled for next month.

The annual event is being hosted this year by Vietnam and will be attended by all ASEAN members and partners – Japan, RoK, China, India, the World Telecommunications Union, and the EU.

Nguyen Thanh Hung, Vietnam’s Deputy Minister of Information and Communications, said “many of this year’s participants have attended other Information and Communications Technology conferences in Da Nang. I think Da Nang is a city very qualified to host major events and in fact, it has previously organized a number of ministerial level meetings. That’s why we strongly approve the selection of Da Nang for this event.”
