(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese Minister of Defense Phan Van Giang on Wednesday received the Republic of Korea’s (RoK) Deputy Defense Minister Kim Seon Ho, who is in Hanoi for the 11th Defense Policy Dialogue between the two countries.

Minister Giang praised the results of the Dialogue and the practical and effective defense cooperation between the two countries based on what was agreed on by the two Defense Ministers in March 2023.
He proposed the two sides continue to actively and effectively cooperate in addressing the consequences of war in Vietnam, defense industry, and the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation between the two ministries.
The host invited the RoK’s Ministry of Defense and defense enterprises to attend the 2nd International Defense Exhibition to be held in Hanoi in December.
