Deputy Defence Minister visits China to boost military exchanges
(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Minister of National Defence, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Chi Vinh made a courtesy visit to Senior Lieutenant General Wei Fenghe, Chinese Minister of National Defence, during a working trip to China from Tuesday to Friday.

Mr. Vinh said the purpose of his visit is to promote high-level exchanges between the two countries’ armies and build bilateral cooperation plans in the fields of military medicine, human resources training, search and rescue, defence manufaturing, and involvement in UN peacekeeping activities.
General Wei said China attaches great importance to its comprehensive strategic relationship with Vietnam, adding that the collaboration between Vietnamese and Chinese armies has been expanded over the past few years, with positive developments and more practical cooperation mechanisms reached.
