(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai and a government working team on Tuesday worked with Quang Tri province on the local socio-economic situation and actions to deal with the prolonged drought.

Hai asked the province to effectively distribute water resources, diversify their varieties of crops, ensure water supply for domestic use, and support people in disadvantaged areas. He said the government would consider the province’s request to upgrade the water supply system.

On Monday Mr. Hai looked at the production and trade of enterprises in Quan Ngang industrial zone, the construction of an airport in Gio Linh district, and Truc Kinh reservoir in Cam Lo district.
