Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh made this remark yesterday in Hanoi while receiving Karin Finkelston, International Finance Corporation (IFC)’s Vice President for Asia Pacific. Mr. Ninh applauded Finkelston’s first official visit to Vietnam. Finkelston said that despite challenges Vietnam has made significant progress in reducing poverty and improving the investment environment, adding that the IFC will provide continued support to help Vietnam weather current difficulties.
