During Sunday morning’s online briefing with Ho Chi Minh City, the Deputy Prime Minister said that over the past 2 days of social distancing, Ho Chi Minh City's anti-pandemic work has helped put things into order. He underscored the goal of reestablishing safety in districts, wards and areas after 15 days of special distancing for the city to return to a new normal life.
Deputy Prime Minister Dam requested that in addition to advocacy, Ho Chi Minh City should continue to strictly handle cases of violations of pandemic prevention regulations, regardless of who they are. Along with the organization of shopping for free, there should be other forms of aid for the poor such as free meals. The city needs to soon remove difficulties to ensure the purchase of sufficient supplies and equipment for pandemic prevention, the Deputy Prime Minister said.
