(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam on Saturday visited models of food production and supply in Tien Du district, Bac Ninh province.

 Later on, at a working session with provincial authorities on food safety and hygiene, Mr. Dam said Bac Ninh is home to many industrial zones with beverage factories, and animal husbandry and food processing facilities. He called on Bac Ninh to intensify its communication campaigns and create incentives to help business implement the model of clean agricultural produce chains. Sound businesses should be encouraged, while fraud businesses should be punished. The Deputy PM asked the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to study a decision related to inspection, check, and taking sample of food.
