(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh hailed the achievements of the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho in the first 6 month of this year. Ninh, who is also Head of the Southwest Steering Committee, talked with Can Tho municipal authorities on Tuesday about socio-economic development and defense in 2014.

He urged local leaders to help enterprises overcome difficulties, restructure the local economy, and secure new markets. Can Tho city needs to renew income-generating service units, tighten market price management, and ensure security.
