(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh has asked local authorities to intensify social welfare for people who rendered great services to the nation. On Thursday, he met with 43 war invalids, relatives of martyrs, veterans contaminated with chemicals, and former prisoners, who are all from the Mekong Delta province of Dong Thap.

Ninh asked them to promote their revolutionary spirit, encouraging youngsters to work and study harder to contribute to local development.
