(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh has suggested that the northern border province of Cao Bang should pay more attention to developing border trade and traffic roads with its partners’ support.

In a working session with Cao Bang authorities on Monday, Minh, who also heads the Vietnam-China Steering Committee on Bilateral Cooperation, praised Cao Bang province’s economic development and cooperation with China’s border provinces. He asked relevant central agencies to consider investment for Cao Bang, particularly upgrading the Cao Bang-Lang Son route to a highway.
During his trip, Minh visited Tra Linh border gate economic zone and Ban Gioc waterfall. He presented gifts to border guards at Dam Thuy border station and 5 beneficiary families.
