(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh lauded Ben Tre’s socioeconomic achievements at a meeting with the provincial leaders on Wednesday.

For the last 5 years, the province has mobilized more than 2.5 billion USD for socioeconomic development and infrastructure improvement. Minh asked ministries and central agencies to continue support Ben Tre’s development by integrating its projects on improving local water management and upgrading Thach Phu breakwaters and Phu Nhuan industrial zone’s infrastructure, in Vietnam’s 2016 prioritized list of short-term investment.
