Hue joined 110th anniversary of Sam Son tourism on Saturday.

The
event marked the upgrade of Sam Son to a city in Thanh Hoa province following a
resolution by the National Assembly Standing Committee. The Deputy Prime
Minister spoke about future tasks: “Thanh Hoa province should create unique tourism products to build up
its tourism branding. Investment from various social resources must be
encouraged in infrastructure development while raising human resource quality
and attract visitors through quality services. Thanh Hoa aims to become a
national tourism hub to help the national tourism sector achieve its target by
2020.”

Sam Son is to become one of 12 cities as key
tourism hubs of Vietnam in a development strategy by 2020 and vision by 2030
approved by the Prime Minister.
