Digital economy accounts for over 10% of Vietnam’s GDP

(VOVWORLD) - The digital economy share of GDP grew from 9.6% last year to 10.41% by June this year, according to a workshop on digital transformation hosted by the Ministry of Information and Communications in Hanoi on Sunday.   

The target for 2025 is 20%. 

In 2022, Vietnam will focus on popularizing online services, digital platforms for businesses and people, e-commerce, online learning, and telehealth services. 

Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Huy Dung called for joint effort to make Vietnam a success story of digital transformation.
