Donations to flood-hit communities amount to 45 million USD
(VOVWORLD) -As of 5 PM Sunday, 45 million USD had been raised for victims of typhoon Yagi in response to calls from the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

On Monday, the Front’s Central Relief Mobilization Committee is scheduled to distribute a second round of support to affected localities.
Vietnamese representative agencies and Vietnamese enterprises in Laos have donated about 57,000 USD while the Vietnamese Association in the Czech Republic sent more than 73,000 USD.
"After learning of the heavy storm damage to Vietnam, we called for donations by the Vietnamese people in Teplice and neighboring areas.In just two days we received nearly 12,000 USD," said Mr. Ngo Sy Long is Chairman of the Vietnamese Association in Teplice and the vicinity in the Czech Republic.
