Ambassador to Italy and Malta Nguyen Hoang Long highlighted their fine relations in the past as a firm foundation for future broader ties in trade, investment, tourism, and education. Long expressed his hope that Malta, with the most preferential legal and tax regulations in the world, will make it easier for Vietnam to open financial and banking units there to penetrate the European and North African markets.
