Efforts geared up to settle voters’ petitions
(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has asked the Fatherland Front to work more closely with the government to deal with citizens’ petitions and complaints, upholding democracy and building a stronger Party and government. PM Dung co-chaired an annual meeting between the Government and the Fatherland Front’s Central Committee on Wednesday in Hanoi. He urged for closer cooperation between relevant agencies in building a national unity bloc, creating social consensus and making policies more practical: “First of all, to build a national unity bloc, we need to adopt policies that favorable to the people. Inappropriate policies should be revised to prevent them from affecting people’s benefits”.
