(VOVworld) - Cairo Criminal Court moved the trial of former President Mohamed Morsi and 10 others defendants who face charges of spying for Qatar on Thursday to May 24. They are accused of revealing defence secrets to Qatar’s Intelligence Agency and Al Jazeera TV.

Relations between Egypt and Qatar have been on the verge of collapse since President Morsi was deposed in July 2013. Egypt has accused Qatar of supporting the Muslim Brotherhood.
