Egyptian President’s Vietnam visit opens new era for bilateral ties
(VOVWORLD) - The forthcoming official visit to Vietnam by Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi will open a new era for bilateral ties, according to Rifaat Khaled, Vice Editor-in-Chief of Egypt’s daily newspaper Al Messa.

Khaled wrote on Sunday’s edition that the visit on Wednesday and Thursday, the first ever by an Egyptian President since the two countries established diplomatic relations in 1963, will broaden cooperation in politics, diplomacy, and economics.
“Vietnam plays an important role in ASEAN in maintaining security and stability. It has well implemented the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Sea,” Khaled said.
