(VOVworld) – An art and photo exhibit program called ‘Essence of Vietnam” was held in Oslo, Norway, to mark the 71^st anniversary of Vietnam’s Independence Day and the 45^th anniversary of Vietnam-Norway diplomatic ties.

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Khanh Hai said that over the past 40 years, Vietnam and Norway have always attached importance to expanding their ties and cooperation. Norway is one of just a few countries supporting Vietnam in the culture sector through a music project called “Transposition” involving 12 art troupes from the two countries. 300 guests, including representatives from Norwegian agencies, social organizations, ambassadors, and the Vietnamese community in Norway, attended the exhibit.
