The draft plan for Brexit negotiation proposed by President of the European Council stipulates that protecting the rights for EU citizens in the UK is one of 3 top priorities in the upcoming negotiations and that the EU will try to assure permanent residency for the Europeans who have lived legally in Britain for 5 years. The EU also asked London to respect EU’s management and supervision if it wants to continue to access to EU markets.
