EU-funded project on youths changing preconception on gender in Vietnam
(VOVWORLD) - A workshop was held in Hanoi on Friday to kick off a project with young people in changing preconception on gender and boosting gender equality in Vietnam.
The project involving young people in changing preconception on gender and boosting gender equality in Vietnam will be held from now until 2024.

Funded by the European Union, the project will run through 2024 in Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City to change young people's perceptions and behaviors about the role of gender stereotypes, women's leadership, and stereotypes of men and women.
1,000 youth including students from 5 universities will be provided with knowledge and skills to change perceptions.
The workshop was organized by Oxfam in Vietnam, the Consultative Institute for Socio-Economic Development of Rural and Mountainous Areas, and Hanoi University.
