During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh paid special attention to education. He wrote a letter to students on the opening day of the first new school year of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam on September 15, 1945, stating that whether the Vietnamese nation becomes glorious or not, whether it stands side by side with the powers of the five continents or not, depends largely on children’s studies.
