Festivals, art programs mark National Day
(VOVWORLD) - Various art programs will be held nationwide from Saturday to next Monday to celebrate the 74th National Day of Vietnam, September 2.

The management board of the Viet Nam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism said for one month beginning Friday, September activities will be organized at the village to introduce the culture and customs of 54 distinct Vietnamese ethnic communities. The event will involve about 300 people from 15 ethnic groups from Ha Giang, Son La, Thua Thien Hue, Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Ninh Thuan, Dak Lak, and Soc Trang. Highlights of the event will be the reenactment of a market and the Lo Lo ethnic festival in Meo Vac district in Ha Giang province.

The symphonic concert "What Remains Forever” will be held at the Hanoi Opera House on Monday. Themed "Flying Up Vietnam”, the program will feature songs about the sea and islands, together with songs in praise of President Ho Chi Minh, the Vietnamese land and people.
Dam Sen (Lotus Lake) Cultural Park in Ho Chi Minh City will offer children many art programs in which they can directly participate. A light show will be held on Sunday, whose brilliant, vibrant colors reflect the spirit of the Vietnamese people and nation.
