(VOVworld) – The final round for the Miss Jewelry 2013 pageant will be held on July 20^th on Tuan Chau island complex in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province.

At a press conference on Monday in Hanoi, Chairman of the Vietnam Gemstones, Jewelry and Handicraft Association and Head of the event’s Organizing Board, Le Ngoc Dung, said that the contest aimed to honor the beauty of Vietnamese women, combined with the various exquisite jewelry collections made by talented craftsmen. The competition is for girls aged between 18 and 27 years old who are Vietnamese citizens working in Vietnam or foreign countries. The qualifying round will take place from May 19 to June 21 at localities. Luong Van Hung, Head of the pageant’s Consultative Board, said: "This year, we went to different parts of the country to search for the most beautiful women. We also worked with the Central Music and Dance Theater, Military Cultural Theater and in provinces and cities like Hanoi, Can Tho, Thai Nguyen and Quang Ninh, searching for the most deserving candidates".

So far, more than 100 people have registered to take part in the pageant.
