First made-in-Vietnam cars roll out at Paris Motor Show
(VOVWORLD) - The very first products of Vietnam’s first car manufacturer VinFast have surprised industry insiders and visitors at the Paris Motor Show 2018.

VinFast’s SUV and sedan were unveiled on Tuesday, marking the first time made-in-Vietnam cars stood alongside with global giants at one of the largest auto shows in the world. The LUX A2.0 and LUX SA2.0 models are built with the collaboration of famous designers Pininfarina and Ital Design, and leading technology brands such as Magna Steyr and BMW. The models are expected to hit the market in the third quarter of next year. VinFast's goal is to become the leading automobile manufacturer in Southeast Asia with the designed capacity of 500,000 cars per year by 2025. VinFast, a unit of Vietnam’s largest conglomerate, Vingroup JSC, was established just over a year ago.
