Flights connecting Vinh and HCM City suspended
(VOVWORLD) - The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) has issued a document on the suspension of Ho Chi Minh City – Vinh flights and vice versa, starting from Friday until further notice.

Special flights carrying medical staff and supplies for COVID-19 treatment will be considered by CAAV.
Earlier, Vice Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial People’s Committee Le Hong Vinh asked the Ministry of Transport to suspend all commercial flights to/from Vinh international airport from Wednesday until the virus is controlled.
Due to complications of the pandemic, Hai Phong, Quang Binh, Quang Ninh, Gia Lai, and Con Dao have halted flights to/from Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh City.
