(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh on Sunday met bilaterally with his Singaporean and Indonesian counterparts in Vientiane, Laos, on the sidelines of the 49^th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting.

Mr. Minh and Singaporean Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrisnan said they believe that the upcoming visit to Singapore by President Tran Dai Quang will help boost the two countries’ relations. Both sides agreed to continue long-term economic cooperative projects, giving priority to the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park and new technologies that are connected with start-up projects.

During his meeting with Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi, both sides agreed to strengthen measures to make the two countries’ ties more practical and effective. They also agreed on continued close coordination within ASEAN and at regional and international forums.
