In his congratulatory message, Party General Secretary and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith affirmed to work closely with Vietnam to consolidate the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, States, and peoples.

Chinese President Xi Jinping expressed his respect for the China-Vietnam relationship and his readiness to work with President Vo Van Thuong to promote bilateral ties on a stable, pure manner. 

Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni expressed his belief that under the leadership of President Vo Van Thuong, Vietnam will continue to gain great achievements and rapid growth in all aspects and play an important role in the region and the world.

The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez expressed his belief that Cuba and Vietnam will continue to foster bilateral cooperation in all aspects and strengthen the model relationship between the two Parties, States, and peoples.
