Formosa should make effort to minimize environmental impacts: PM
(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has asked Formosa group to shift from coke wet quenching to coke dry quenching by June next year, following environmental conditions and standards.

Mr. Phuc made the call at a working session with Formosa group in Ha Tinh province on Friday as part of his inspection tour of the project site. He also urged for technological innovation to improve product quality and minimize impacts on the environment, while investing in research and development of waste recycling technology.
The PM called on central ministries and sectors to work closely with Ha Tinh in managing and overseeing Formosa’s production and its environmental clean-up.
