Fund to support Vietnamese enterprises to be launched
(VOVworld) - The Ministry of Planning and Investment is putting the final touches to the establishment of a fund to support enterprises. So far, only 30% of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) can access bank loans, so the establishment of this fund is of great significance. Nguyen Trong Hieu, Deputy Director of the Enterprise Development Department at the Ministry of Planning and Investment, says: “The establishment of the fund is of momentous because it aims to help potential enterprises, especially those in the priority list access funding. The Prime Minister has just decided on this issue, so it will take time to complete the necessary legal procedures to make the fund operational”.
The fund to support SMEs has an initial capital of nearly 100 million USD. It aims to help SMEs strengthen capacity and access financial resources.
