The G7 countries said all Russia’s sovereign assets in their jurisdiction will remain immobilized until Russia ends the conflict.
They pledged to use economic assistance to ensure that Ukraine maintains macro-financial stability, to repair and build critical infrastructure, including in the energy sector, to boost economic growth, and to support reforms.
They pledged to provide loans worth 50 billion USD to Ukraine by the end of this year. The same day, the US announced a new military aid package for Ukraine worth 375 million USD.
