In 2017, the sector earned 31 billion USD from export, including 12.53 billion USD from the US, its biggest importer. Vu Duc Giang, President of the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association, said: "Production must go hand in hand with technology application as well as brand development and promotion. In the forth industrial revolution era, we need to further promote Vietnamese brands to the world."
