This festival, the biggest of the year organized by Tram Tau district, began with a worship ritual as a gesture of gratitude to heaven and earth for their blessings of wealth and good harvests, and as a prayer for a new year filled with luck, success, and good health.

The festival, which also included cultural performances and traditional games such as tug of war, stick pushing, spinning, and rice pounding, drew a large crowd of people from 10 mountain communes. The joyous and colorful ambiance of the festival reflects the spirit of solidarity among local ethnic groups and demonstrates their collective effort to build a happy and prosperous homeland.
