They agreed to ramp up cooperation in defense, security, education, training, culture, sports, people-to-people exchanges, and tourism.
Chairman Man and President Khachaturyan pledged to continue to closely coordinate and support each other at multilateral forums. Mr. Man said Vietnam is ready to support Armenia’s connection with ASEAN. He asked Armenia to support ASEAN and Vietnam’s stance on the East Sea and resolving disputes by peaceful means on the basis of international law.
Mr. Man invited Armenian leaders to attend the signing of the UN Convention against Cybercrime to be hosted by Vietnam in Hanoi in October 2025. Mr. Khachaturyan applauded Vietnam for organizing that important event and announced that Armenia will host the COP 17 UN Conference on Biological Diversity in 2026, saying he hopes Vietnam will send senior leaders to that conference.
