German House inaugurated in HCM City
(VOVWORLD) - A German House was inaugurated in Ho Chi Minh City on Tuesday at a ceremony which also marked the 25-year presence of the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Vietnam.

Begun in November, 2014, the building is a symbol of the friendship and strategic cooperation of the two countries.
It will be the headquarters of the German Consulate General in HCMC and economic, social, and cultural organizations and businesses operating in Vietnam.
Addressing the event, German Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy Peter Altmaier hailed Vietnam’s dynamic growth and the strong development of start-ups that has been driving this growth.
He thanked Vietnamese partners for their support in the construction of the new German House, and said the Vietnamese community in Germany plays a major role in fostering a strong relationship.

Vietnamese Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh said the German House will be a new center for bilateral cooperation and a bridge between the business communities of the two countries.
