The 5^th program opened this Sunday in 63 provinces and cities nationwide. Major activities include planting trees, repairing cemeteries, monuments, and historical relic sites, and visiting policy beneficiaries and heroic mothers. Le Van Trung, Secretary of Thanh Hoa provincial Youth Union, said: “Our province has involved more than 100,000 young people in the Green Sunday program. We focus on 3 main tasks: assisting flood affected people, cleaning up cemeteries of invalids and martyrs, and cleaning up beaches.”
