(VOVWORLD) -Starting Friday, citizens, doctors, and health professionals will gain access to the Hanoi Electronic Health Record (EHR) Platform, and be able to create, display, update, store, and share health records electronically, said the Hanoi People’s Committee on Wednesday.

Each citizen will have a lifelong electronic health record that monitors and stores all of their health-related activities, in a format set by the Health Ministry.
Only relevant parties can access this information and citizens can decide whether to share the personal information stored in their health record.
The shared health records will enable citizens to manage their family’s health on the “iHanoi” mobile app, and assist them during the course of medical visits, treatment, and disease prevention.
