"Modern Hanoi" won the first prize in the competition

(VOVworld)- A photo exhibition themed “Hanoi renovation and development” opened in Hanoi on Wednesday to celebrate the 60^th anniversary of Hanoi’s Liberation. More than 130 photos reflecting the beauty and rapid development of Hanoi, and the daily life and the charm of Hanoiains are on display. Dang Dinh An is President of the Hanoi Photographic Artists’ Association: “The photos, which are entries to a large-scale photo competition about Hanoi, reflect the city’s political, social and cultural issues since 1954. At the exhibition, we can see photos of liberation soldiers, Hanoi during the war and the people of Hanoi in the past including the painter Bui Xuan Phai, photographer Vo An Ninh. This exhibition will certainly inspire visitors”.
