(VOVworld) – A march for women’s advancement was held in HCM city’s District 7 on Sunday involving 6,000 people. Phan Thi Cam Hong of District 1 said: “This program encouraged more women to take part in social activities, which will help them be more aware of their increasingly important role in society.”

Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan, World Bank director in Vietnam Victoria Kwakwa and Doctor Biswarrop Roy Chowdhury, Guinness world record holder in memory attended the event.
