(VOVworld) - Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Dinh La Thang on Wednesday arrived in Phnom Penh beginning a 2-day working visit to Cambodia.

During his courtesy meeting with Samdech Say Chum, Senate President, Mr. Thang said the visit aims to affirm Ho Chi Minh City’s commitment to enhancing friendship and collaboration with Cambodian localities. He said he hopes Mr. Say Chum will create more incentives for Ho Chi Minh City businesses to invest in Cambodia.

In talks with Pa Socheat Vong, Phnom Penh’s Governor, Mr. Thang said Ho Chi Minh City will increase exchanges of delegations, promote travel to the Cambodian capital city of Phnom Penh, improve administrative procedures, and call on local enterprises to invest in Cambodia. He said he hopes Cambodian authorities will continue to facilitate Vietnamese companies’ operation and the Vietnamese community there.
