The proposal was made after South Korea’s Unification Ministry said the two Koreas plan to meet this week to discuss implementation of the Panmunjom Declaration for Peace, Prosperity and Unification of the Korean Peninsula, which was signed on April 27 in the historic summit between South Korean President Moon Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
