(VOVworld) – Hồ Chí Minh City’s officials and businessmen toured Venezuela from last Wednesday to exchange experiences in construction and municipal management and seek partnership opportunities.

Garment is one of the potential co-operation fields for Hồ Chí Minh City and Venezuela businesses.

With the support of the government of Caracas city, they had a meeting with 40 Venezuelan businesses, mostly operating in apparel, construction, environment, tourism and food industries.
Vice Chairman of the Hồ Chí Minh City People’s Committee Nguyễn Hữu Tín and Ambassador to Venezuela Ngô Tiến Dũng highlighted the potential for mutual development by boosting bilateral affiliation in economics, trade and investment.
Representatives of Hồ Chí Minh City and enterprises introduced the development prospects of industries in their city to their potential partners. The two sides pledged to continue exchanging information related to specific areas as well as updated regulations, policy and law of each country so as to enable them to realise their cooperation agreements.
