Ho Chi Minh City eyes breakthrough IT cooperation with India
(VOVWORLD) - Ho Chi Minh City is ready to welcome Indian investors and foster a favorable business environment to drive breakthroughs in the information technology (IT) sector, according to a workshop on Thursday.

Vo Van Hoan, Vice Chairman of the municipal People's Committee, affirmed the city's commitment to creating optimal conditions for collaboration with Indian enterprises. Hoan said: “We are committed to creating the most favorable conditions for Indian businesses to invest, cooperate, and develop sustainably in the city. We believe close cooperation will benefit both sides and create breakthroughs and sustainable value for the IT sector.”
Amitabh Ray, technology president of the Indian Chamber of Commerce, said India is a global leader in IT services, and Vietnam, particularly Ho Chi Minh City, is emerging as a key player in the semiconductor industry. This, he said, presents significant opportunities for cooperation in smart city development and semiconductor supply chains.
