Ho Chi Minh city set to become smart city
(VOVWORLD) -A project to turn Ho Chi Minh city into a smart city by 2020 and with a vision toward 2025 was unveiled at a conference on Sunday.

The project sets out 4 major goals: sustaining growth toward a knowledge-based, digital economy; effective governance on the basis of forecasts; improving the living and working environment; and enhancing public participation. HCM city’s Vice Major Tran Vinh Tuyen said that the smart city aims to create a comfortable, healthy and safe living environment with convenient public transport, good healthcare, clean water and environment and less crime.
