(VOVworld) – Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City’s Party Committee Le Hoang Quan on Saturday received a visiting high-ranking delegation from Myanmar’s Yangon region led by Governor U Myint Swe. Quan said Ho Chi Minh City and Yangon share similarities about their positions, role and potential, adding that cooperative opportunities are open for both sides to work together in economics, trade, tourism, culture, education and healthcare.

Governor U Myint Swe said his visit aims to boost trade and investment cooperation with Ho Chi Minh City. The Governor also invited local entrepreneurs to visit Yangon to seek business opportunities.
